Forthcoming class trips

With apologies for the very short notice, we have a class trip on the first day back after half term, Monday 31 October, to the London Connected Learning Centre in Clapham, where we’ll be doing a workshop entitled Digital citizens: understanding the internet.   A consent form will go home with the children tomorrow – all they will  need on the day is a pack lunch.

Then, on Monday 7 November, as part of our next project which will be on World War II, we’ll be visiting the Cabinet War Rooms, the British government’s command centre during the war, and the linked Churchill Museum, which explores the life and legacy of Winston Churchill.

    1. Thanks for the suggestion. It would be great if any of the children would like to start finding out about Winston Churchill and in particular his role during the Second World War. We will start to explore Churchill’s role in the war as a whole class, ahead of the trip, and so there will be lots of opportunities for the children to share their research.
