We’ve finished Roald Dahl’s brilliant and hilarious Boy: Tales of Childhood – say what you thought about the book by replying to this post.  Next we’re going to read the follow-on book recounting his journey to eastern Africa and war-time experiences in the Royal Air Force flying fighter planes in Greece and the Middle East, which included getting shot out of the sky…

  1. I really enjoyed reading Boy and learning how Roald Dahl grew up and the adventures he had.I think that he had an amazing life.I can’t wait to read the next book.


  2. I really liked the life of roaldhal , from nearly killing a sweet shop owner from discovering new places and joining the Royal Navy.


  3. I really like Boy because it shows how interesting Roald Dahl was and how his life was like a spiral of excitement he has another book called ‘Going Solo’. That our class is going to read.


  4. I really loved reading about Roald Dahl’s life and I think that it is very cool how had such a very interesting life. I loved hearing about all his adventures. My favourite was when they but the goat droppings in the pipe and he smoked and and thought that he was dying.


  5. I really enjoyed reading boy because I found it very intresting how he grew up through school and the weird experiences he had.In my opinion the weirdest was when he had to warm up the toilet seat for the Bozers

  7. I liked reading boy Roald dahl has a really interesting life I like it when he talks about his school because the schools he went to were so different to schools now (he had to warm up the toilet seat for the bozars at his school)


  8. i loved reading boy i think its a very good autobiography about him growing up and all the things he did for fun and all the things that happened to him.
